Palak Paratha

Palak Paratha is a popular breakfast prepared in Maharashtra. It is high in terms of nutrition and also very quick to prepared. It is a very tasty dish everyone love it.

Ingredients required for Palak paratha:

  • 2 cups wheat flour (atta)
  • 250 grams Spinach
  • 1tpsp chickpea flour
  • Sesame Seeds 2 tpsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1 ½
  • curry leaves
  • coriander
  • Garlic paste
  • 2 Green chili paste
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Ajwain
  • Salt

How to make Palak Paratha

  • Wash the spinach and drain completely.
  • Chop the spinach ,curry leaves, coriander
  • Add chop spinach ,curry leaves, coriander, chickpea, turmeric powder, sesame seeds, ajwain to the flour along with salt garlic and green chilli paste.
  • Knead together to make dough.
  • Add little oil to make dough soft.
  • Roll it to make slightly thick paratha spinkle the flour to avoid sticking.
  • Make the chapati slightly thicker than roti with medium size
  • Now we have to roast the chapti on tawa
  • Heat tawa put the paratha on tawa
  • After 1 min turn the paratha apply oil all over the surface cook very well.
  • Once done take it out in plate and serve with chatani.
