Summer heat is definitely uncomfortable not only for you but also for your skin. Are you aware that the skin tends to bear the maximum brunt of the harshness of the sun?  The humidity and the heat with the temperatures soaring make the oil glands hyperactive. Some of the problems you can face are sun-burn, tan, rashes, itchy skin, excessive oil, and the list can continue. To make this short, here are some tips that can help you get glowing skin even during extreme summers.

  1. Face Mask of Cucumber:

Cucumber is beneficial not only to your overall health but also helps you in getting a glowing skin.

Make a smooth paste of gram flour and cucumber juice and leave this on your face for around 15 to 20 minutes. You can then rinse this off with lukewarm water.

  1. Aloe Vera for Glowing skin:

Aloe Vera is known for its healing and nourishing properties. This can help in rejuvenating your skin and make this glow even when the weather is harsh. Besides healing rough skin, aloe vera can also remove the scars of acne and soothe the skin from any kind of irritation.

Mix a pinch of turmeric to 1 tablespoon Aloe vera Gel. Add 1 tablespoon of milk and honey to this mixture. Apply this paste on your face and leave it on for around 20 minutes. Rinse with clean water.

  1. Face Mask of Papaya:

The ‘Papain’ in papaya works as a mild exfoliator. This means, it removes dead skin and gets rid of grime and dirt that can cause acne. Besides clearing up the acne marks, this can also add the required glow.

Add some sandalwood and fuller’s earth to slices of papaya. Apply this paste on your face and rinse it off after around 20 minutes.

  1. Lemon Mask:

As known, lemon has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. This can regulate the pH of the skin, bleaches, and also removes the tan. The lemon mask can brighten your skin and make it glow.

Add 1 teaspoon of sugar to 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Massage this on your face and also on your hands and neck. Rinse this using warm water.

  1. Using Sunscreen:

Summers are the time you need to use sunscreen very religiously. This cannot be skipped or forgotten especially when you are moving out of your home. You need to be aware that any excessive exposure to the UV rays can cause havoc with your skin. This can cause wrinkles, fine lines, signs of aging, and probably even skin cancer.

  1. Adding Vegetables and Fruits:

Fruits and vegetables are definitely essentials for your overall health, but are you aware that these are also important for the health of your skin? These vegetables and fruits contain all the essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients required for your body and your skin to remain healthy.

Enjoy your summers to the maximum by following few tips so that you are not worried about the health of your skin.
