Deepika Padukone had a disciplined and strict routine in her school days, more so because she was the daughter of a much-disciplined sportsman, Prakash Padukone. This means she had no time for TV or movies or even theater. This was revealed by the actress on one of her interviews with a channel.
As known, Deepika is considered the reigning Queen of Bollywood and has made her place in the industry solely with her dedication and hard work. Her career graph is truly enviable as it is on a constant rise.
Her schedule was getting up early in the morning at 5 a.m. and going for physical training and after this, it was school.
Deepika also said that her teachers said that they would have punished her but did not do so as they were fans of her father, Prakash Padukone.
It was at the age of 16 that this actress traveled to Copenhagen all by herself. After she returned was when she found her wings. She pursued modeling and reached Mumbai with a suitcase at the age of 17. Her father, Prakash Padukone admitted that badminton was her second love and not her first love.

After she returned home, she was too exhausted and thus went to sleep after having her dinner. The next day it was the same routine. She admitted that she never watched movies in her growing years.
She says that sports had taught her discipline, dedication, sacrifice, and also determination. She admitted all this and also said that her movie, ‘Cocktail’ was one of the films that allowed her a different experience of being vulnerable in front of the camera. After this, there was no stopping her.
At present, Deepika is in Goa, shooting for another film of Shakun Batra, with Ananya Pandey and Siddhanth Chaturvedi.
Besides this, she is also working for ‘83’ of Kabir Khan where she is sharing screen space with her husband, Ranvir Singh. She acts the part of Romi Dev, the wife of Kapil Dev.
