What is the recovery time for the coronavirus disease?

Early research suggested that it could take 2 weeks for your body to get over a mild illness, or up to 6 weeks for severe or critical cases. Newer data show that recovery varies for different people, depending on things like your age and overall health.

Can COVID-19 be transmitted through feces or urine?

SARS-CoV-2 RNA has also been detected in other biological samples, including the urine and feces of some patients. One study found viable SARS-CoV-2 in the urine of one patient. Three studies have cultured SARS-CoV2 from stool specimens. To date, however, there have been no published reports of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 through feces or urine.

Can people get COVID-19 from food?

Currently, there is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID19 spreads to people through food. However, it is important to safely handle and continue to cook foods to their recommended cooking temperatures to prevent foodborne illness.
