This IPL2020 tournament played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) saw RR crush the CSK team with 7 wickets. Now, RR is in the 5th position.
Jos Buttler with 70 and Steve Smith with 26 helped the RR team chase down the target of the target of 126 runs. This was done only in 17.3 overs and 7 wickets left in hand.

The CSK team got only 13 fours out of which Buttler hit nine. Smith was striking only at 75 but Buttler doubled the rate of the strike.
In Jadeja’s first over, Buttler got cracking with a reverse-sweep. Piyush Chawla and Jadeja, both of them could not find a grip and turn the way the spinners of the RR team had done. Buttler laid into Chawla and Shardul Thakur and took them to 48 for 27 balls.

The CSK team is not used to the position they are in at present. They have played ten games, seven losses, and only six points. They are at the rock bottom of the table. According to MS Dhoni, he feels his team is not really there.
He added that the spark was missing in the youngsters. According to him, they tried quite a few things but did not want too many changes or chopping as after 4 to 5 games you are not sure about anything. He said he wanted to give his boys a fair go. HE does not want insecurity to prevail in the dressing room. It seems Dhoni has given up on hoping for a turnaround in the game.
